Still here?

Statue in downtown Charlottetown of Canada's first Prime Minister Sir John A. McDonald and a popular spot for tourist travelling to the island. 

The statue has been subjected to paint and chowder attacks as his complicated legacy has been questioned recently.  
The city are digging their heels in over the removal of the statue.
