Goldfinch

So pleased to see a goldfinch back on the feeder this morning.  Since the tree in the next door garden was chopped down, we have seen a much reduced number of birds in the garden.  The goldfinches used to come in groups and wait their turn on the niger seed, in that tree.  Now there is just the odd one now and again.  T ordered a new feeder as the original one was looking a bit worse for wear, and until today we hadn't seen any one try the new one out.  I hope the word gets round the goldfinch community.
