Weedy Rocks

Walking by the beck in the woods this morning, the sun was shining onto the weed and rocks under the surface. The ripples on the water were making lovely patterns with the light - and this little rock with its coat of bright green weed really shone out.

Our first crop of rhubarb this year (2kg) went into the jam pan this morning...6 jars of the stuff cooling off on the window sill. There was just a little left over to try out on some toast with our cup of tea this afternoon.....mmmmmm.

Shopping delivery this afternoon .. and they only managed to squash two out of three loaves of bread... one was half usable, and we didn’t have to pay for it even thought the driver left it. The other went back. I can’t understand why the packers would put a six pack of baked beans (over 2.5 kg) on top of bread in the crate...
