Morning Colour

Morning light eases
into the chilly sky, so
I dress warmly now

I had breakfast before 6 and was out on my deck taking photos of my mountains by 6:30. It was calm and - 1 C. 

We've been promised a sunny day. So far, the weatherman has been correct. 

I drove down to Schubert Drive for some photos before grocery shopping at 7. The North Thompson River is as smooth as glass this morning. It was quite beautiful at first light. I love the reflections and that bit of peach in the sky. 

I left my quilted heart on a bench beside the Rivers Trail.
