Afternoon Tea

We are spending Good Friday cleaning the small amount of garden space we have. Since they added the new fencing last week we’ve been waiting for some free time to be able to re-pot the plants and re-arrange the furniture, especially because we’re hoping that we’ll have visitors tomorrow and, given the current rules, they can only come if we all meet and stay in the garden. It’s been a lovely day to be outside. We popped to the local B&Q store to buy some plants but, after everything was done, it was time for a snack.  PY got a lovely Afternoon Tea package as a present for his birthday last month and it was delivered yesterday. We have some of the savoury items for lunch but we treated ourselves with the carrot cake, eaten outside in the sunshine, after we had finished working. Delicious.
