Bitter

It was bitterly cold today. A North wind but lovely sun. I went for a long walk to somewhere I've never visited before but still staying close to home. This is a view of the Glen that I eventually arrived at. 
I then visited my Dad in St Andrews who has been struggling. I took a smart phone with me for him to use to keep in touch with us. He did really well working out how to use it. Fingers crossed it will enhance his life. 
In the evening I had a video chat with my three pals from the bank I used to work in. Always a fun night with plenty laughter.
A great day to start the holidays.
