My Branch

A chilly day. Leonard (the cat) decided we needed waking up this morning so caught and brought us a small bird. It was playing dead because shortly after he dropped it and Annie stepped in to pick it up, it burst back into life and spotted an open window to fly straight out of. Much easier than trying to catch it of course and a relief to see it wasn't damaged! We then had hail and a bit of snow but once that passed, the sun appeared as did the blue sky but all coupled with a temperature much lower than yesterday. We had a quick trip to the garden centre for some bits and pieces before Annie spent some time in the garden whilst I finished a short presentation off for the camera club meeting tomorrow evening.

I spotted this starling very much commanding his branch of the tree earlier. Hope everyone has had a good Easter weekend.
