Norfolk Island, Ullswater
More work to be done at the Lodge so we made a slight detour in the hope of blipping Wordsworth's daffodils. No luck every parking place was full of cars and worse campervans (don't they know we are in lockdown).
So we continued on and found a layby unoccupied. We wandered through the trees to get a look at the lake. Norfolk Island was straight in front of us. It will have been well before the first lockdown that we were last here. It somehow felt wrong as the instruction is still to stay local. However we remained within the group of parishes that is the smallest unit you can zoom into on the Government's coronavirus map so I suppose that counts as local.
