This was the home of many famous comics and magazines like Beano, Bunty, Jackie, Peoples' Friend, My Weekly and The Victor, but the main printing works moved out of the centre of town.
Very chilly this morning with a biting wind and the vaccination centre was chilly, too. They are now doing second doses of the Pfizer vaccine so it was quieter and I was offered my second dose. I declined as I had the running group with some new people this evening and didn't want to risk a problem if I had side effects but I'll see if I can get it next Monday.
Despite the wind it was a pleasant walk home in the sun.
I had a rather frustrating hour on the computer in the afternoon trying to transfer photos but finally got some of what I wanted.
