A cracking view

Looking north from the garden, towards the Mendip Hills, with the sun lowering to the left behind the hill above the garden, makes all the hassle worthwhile.  It's not yet finished, but we hope that our conveyancing firm will put all the final details to bed this week and we can exchange contracts.

The Extra shows the sundial in the corner of the garden.  It runs about 15 minutes slow (horror!) but it's about 8 degrees out of alignment from magnetic north.  I don't suppose that it will be something to worry about, in the grand scheme of things . . .
