Holiday day 6/12: free water and chaffinches seen!

Pyhäjärvi -lake is always the first out of these two big lakes to give up it's ice cover. The other big lake here is Näsijärvi and it still is covered with ice, as well as our nearest lakes are. The pic is from Rajasalmi bridge and Tampere can be seen far over there.

I have not seen anyone walking on any of the ice anymore, and that is wise decision to kewp out of there. After frosty nights the icecovers weaken fastly.

Some cooking today, as for the easter I made Rabbit stew (I know what you think, but no, I did not make it from our own garden rabbits, but found a fresh French rabbit in supermarket). Very good taste, actually, but I prefer chicken from now on.

My son, hubby and daughter visited home for rabbit - dinner in between taking the new sofa (that she bought from second hand facebook site) to my daughter's new flat.

Summer is two weeks from here. Saw few chaffinches today (Fringilla coelebs) in our garden!
