Lake Pukaki

7 hours later, we arrived in Akaroa from Wanaka! There was a lot of post Easter traffic, plus we had a lovely stopover at Lake Pukaki (photo) for a walk and to stretch Frida’s legs. In this photo, you can see NZ’s highest mountain, Mt Cook, in the centre. It was such a sunny day , with not a cloud in the sky.
We arrived in the dark, and got a little lost finding the house we are staying in...however, now safely unpacked, had dinner, and won’t be long out of bed.
