Burning down the house

Our nearest eyesore, an abandoned car showroom, has been visited by hooligans today and part of it set alight. The site is destined for yet another housing development, which is terrible news for future flooding; I guess this episode might boost the developers’ argument.

The building does make for a spectacular sight now, seeing the sky through the burnt out windows. And it’s a bit different from my usual flower and food blips
