First loch swim 2013

630am. Air temperature 2 degrees. Water temperature not much! 4 people. (3 plus the latecomer from Troon at 645).

In we went, Cammie squealed like a girl, Heather (just back from 3 weeks in Australia) went uncharacteristically quiet. Ken bragged that he was going to win a bet with one of the missing crew.

So we got (just) past the sticks then red buoy then in.

How was it? It was freezing. But great!!! My fingers and toes defrosted relatively quickly and the whole session was finished up by several group hugs, large coffees and toasted tea cakes at Costa.

My chi is restored.
