Preparing to make pasta
Last night I cooked my “company” pasta—penne with potatoes, onions, garlic, rosemary, and arugula—for a fully vaccinated friend. Because I wanted to drink wine with her while I was cooking, I prepared all the elements in advance. The red wine she had brought proved so good, however, that I forgot to add in the chopped-up arugula at the final stage! Luckily, the dish tasted fine without it. And, mainly, we were glad to be eating together indoors.
