Spring

Been a strange day. Changed teams to a completely different department at work today. It is all online and working from home so felt very strange to log on and then not have a clue what to do. It will take a few days before I have access to all the databases and there is a lot new to learn. The best thing is that the rest of the team, although at a distance, are very helpful.
Haven't got the car today so had to walk 45 minutes over to check on mum. She has found this year hard and is desperate to get out to the shops soon. I am not sure how she will cope with queuing and wearing masks. We are getting a walker with a seat for her as I think that might be handy for visits out.
The walk was lovely. I went down my favourite road which has big houses and lovely gardens. Lots of magnolia trees. We are lucky as it is sunny and cold and we have missed the snow that was forecast.
