Cherry blossom

I replanted my little patio cherry tree into a flower bed I’d extended, hoping it would settle in and be happy. It seems to like its new position.
It has been bitterly cold here today, though it looks beautiful with the sunshine. I checked on the spawn in the pond both yesterday and today and I’m not sure the tadpoles which had started to wiggle in the spawn have survived the cold. There’s been a thin layer of ice both mornings on the surface.
