Tuesday

It's been another cold day, in fact so cold I cut short my afternoon walk to get back indoors.  Although cold it was quite sunny at times, then this evening the sky clouded over and we had some falling snowflakes!

When I did get out we went to the local brook as the mud had dried and it was possible to walk around the wild area.  I do like it there, left wild but controlled enough to keep the brook flowing and the paths passable.  I saw a few wild flowers, only one of which I could identify, but I like these yellow flowers by the brookside.  What surprised me was that the reflection of the flowers appears more yellow than the original.
