A lone toilet roll and a mallet lying in the empty Caen Hill car park. Why?

One of our volunteers had an Easter weekend story to tell. They were gardening and unearthed a WW2 German cluster bomb! Called the police and the place was soon attended along with the Army bomb disposal unit!  She took lots of fascinating photographs. 

Odd to think of bombs being dropped over Potterne.

Funny day of weather. Snow, hail, sun and wind, grey skies then blue.
