Signs of Spring

Whilst this week and weekend just past has seen a blip in the springtime warmer weather, here in the UK, men and women alike welcome in the longer hours of daylight by getting some much loved ageing hunk of metal, rubber, plastic and gasoline out of the garage.

Their pride and joys are ready for the spring/summer/autumn long tradition of ‘look what I’ve got and yes it still works’.

I am no exception to the call of spring and today the ZR1 was gentle coaxed out of hibernation for a wash and wax ready for the better weather to come. After some excellent pre-emptive maintenance done at the end of the Autumn by a good friend and C4 ZR1 guru I expected it to be running sweetly and a quick blip down to Newmarket and back confirmed all systems are go.
