Pile of Junk?

Every year ospreys return to this nest, even with the busy road, sidewalk and gawking tourists below.  I was happy to see one of the residents at home today, but was most intrigued by the composition of the nest.  It literally has a little bit of everything, including ropes, plastic, nets and even a few sparrows (although I didn't capture them in this photo).  I think it's adequate to support the growing family.
Thank you for the lovely comments for my last blip, a sunset on the bay.  I now have an app, Skyfire, that predicts the probability of a colorful sunrise or sunset.  So far it's 1 for 1, but we'll see how it goes throughout the summer.
