Cone

When I first saw some of these flower like things in the garden I wasn't sure what they were but I eventually worked out that they are cones off one of the conifer trees.  The cones look very sort of squashed and they open out gradually and finally explode into individual petal shaped hard things all over the place.  Quite Fascinating.

It has snowed on and off at various times of the day and it has been very cold.  Hoping that we will be able to do a bit more tidying up in the garden now.

Busy day tomorrow with the slabmen coming, the chiropodist, the window cleaner and doctor appointment.
