A long long time ago

This is a shot of me racing at Paddington Velodrome in 1979... I'm the one at the back with the yellow arms.

I spotted this on someones Facebook page, which was quite nice. There is another one there which i think is me too...

We use to leave work in Pompey on a Thursday teatime and drive up to Paddington to race there... the mad thing was that we never had enough money for petrol to get home... so we had win!!! Needless to say we always did.

We did the same at a velodrome in Birmingham once... Now 35 years later i can't imagine why we every thought it was a good idea but when you're 19 i guess lots of things seem a good idea at the time.
