A perfect day

Today my husband and I took a little day trip and it was wonderful! First we stopped at Krispy Kreme for doughnuts and coffee for the ride, then we went out to Snoqualmie Falls (pictured behind us) and took a small hike down to the base of the falls. It was extra exciting because since my knees have been bothering me for awhile I was nervous about walking downhill and going down several flights of stairs... But it was fine!

Afterwards we stopped for takeout lunch in the nearby town of Fall City, where some friends also just bought a house, so we dropped by and got a quick tour and hung out in the backyard with them for awhile.

Overall, it was a perfect day!
