Surf Scoter

The Surf Scoters seem to be really big when I see them next to the Bufflehead ducks. There were hundreds of these unusual birds gathering in the bay today. I got this photo from the boat.....it is not great since the birds were moving and the boat was bouncing up and down. But we don't see these guys often, so I am posting this less than good quality shot.

Today was another beautiful day. Lovely for all of us.
