Enlightenment at the garden centre?

As suspected, it's far too early to buy any petunias, lobelia and nemesia for my pots (the thick ice on my car this morning was, of course, a big clue!) so I settled on a couple of hardy fuchsias and some geraniums I know are made of stern stuff.

I was hoping to create a camellia hedge at the bottom of the garden but I need six... and at £60 each, I think I'll pass for now!
