Vintage clothes sale in DIT

The Easter volunteers and their friends put on a sale of clothes from the shop and had great success today and great craic as well, it seems. The pic shows Julie Long in an early browsing session.

This vintage/second hand clothes sale is being held by DIT Wells For Zoe volunteers who are going to Malawi in April.

Collectively, we want to make a significant impact while we are in Africa, not only by helping those who live in poverty on a daily basis, but also by undertaking and overseeing a GROUP PROJECT which will affect people for years to come.

ALL PROCEEDS from the clothes sale will go directly towards the funding of this group project which we will decide during our time in Malawi. Past group projects include building additional wells in rural villages, building and providing books for desperately needed libraries in secondary schools and so on.

Please, PLEASE do come and support this extremely worthy cause.
The clothes and accessories genuinely are of top quality and hold an interesting, vintage appeal.
