Melting quickly

Yet again the snow that fell overnight is melting quickly. This pond, seen on a walk with HilarysView and another friend, will soon shrink. It was refreshing to get out for a walk this afternoon and make the most of the brief blue skies despite the cold.

The extras show a couple of chamois making their way though the new snowfall and a kestrel perched on the top of a tree.
