Sophie Gets Her Wings

We took Sophie to the Bishop’s Palace at Wells this morning where there was an Easter Trail that involved finding lots of coloured cardboard eggs hidden around the grounds. Each one had a letter on the back and, once she’d found them all she had to work out the seasonal word they spelled.

She had fun in the adventure playground and we enjoyed a picnic lunch before heading home to warm up (it was even colder than yesterday!) make a cat from scrap materials and play a long game of Ludo during which Sophie particularly enjoyed sending Grandad’s counters home!
