Crow Hall
Who would have believed that sleepy old Downham Market was once a pioneer of alternative life in the swinging sixties? The old house on the horizon is Crow Hall and is believed by many to have been the first ever hippy commune. The commune was established in 1965 and existed until 1997. The hall has since been converted into flats. To quote them: "We are a little corner of sanity in a darkening world. We live for ourselves, but with each other. As separate people we live together and as selfish people we share our lives. We have time for people. At times we tolerate each other and at times we genuinely feel mutual love. We are not a commune, We are Crow Hall." Sounds like Blipfoto to me ;-)
For those not interested in hippies, you can always play spot the hare.
