Almost out
We have a lovely weeping flowering cherry in our front garden. It's the focus of the garden and is known and commented on by the neighbours. The blossoms seem to appear almost over night, and are like frothy candyfloss on the branches. Last week we had just small buds but with the sun this last few days it is almost in full bloom. The sad thing is the blooms disappear as quickly, we seem to have just a few short days ( weather permitting) before the petals drop. We often go away this time of year on holiday so there have been years we have missed it in its finery but we have seen it two springs in a row thanks to lock down. Let's hope the wind doesn't blow and we get to see it in its full glory ( may even be a post in a few days!)
