Cloaked

The first batch of plants from seed are outside, spread out, potted on. Challenge is, the April weather is predictably fickle, and the constant rain and fluctuating temps could ruin months of indoor pampering. For the time being, about 200 itsy bitsy plants will spend their days under my patio table that is draped with clear plastic. There are about 300 more babies indoors, ranging from seedlings to seed just started, so the weather better get its act together.

Last night I got up at 1:00am and sat outside under the porch overhang to enjoy the first proper rain and thunder of the year. The sounds and smells made my heart sing, flutter and occasionally jump, but mostly sing.
