Wednesday....to Vancouver!

As always...my mom and dad look forward to my visit every Wednesday. I picked up dad's groceries and spent the afternoon with them. We had a nice lunch and then Mom and I did word puzzles (she can't see so I read her the clues and letters), then a very brisk walk on a blustery, gray afternoon, followed by mom beating me at backgammon (yes I know you're rejoicing!). This morning I went for a good long walk and enjoyed stopping at every cherry tree. They're in just exquisite bloom right now...seemingly fuller than I've ever seen them. Or maybe I'm just so delighted that it's spring and I'm halfway vaccinated...I dunno! At any rate, here’s a quick iPhone shot to cheer up your evening.
