Wharfedale

Had a little drive out for a walk in The Dales yesterday. Parked in a lay-by on the moors above Appletreewick and went for a stroll I’ve done many times before.
The lapwings were making a right racket, I presume they had eggs nearby and were protecting them from the seagulls and crows and I heard a curlew.
It took me ages to get back home, every corner you turn seems to present you with another new set of temporary traffic lights! ;-(
