It's that time of the year.

We have a friend staying at the moment who mentioned this afternoon that he had never seen the 'common''red' mushroom.  Amanita muscari  are found under pine trees so we made a quick visit to a plantation close by.  Plenty there but many eaten or broken.  We need to make another trip when the light is better.
