Survived

Having planted the little cherry in memory of Flossie I have enjoyed watching it bloom.  However with this horrible cold snap we just encountered I decided the wind may well kill it so I rigged up some bushy cuttings from the fuschia and some strong dogwood stems which I posted all around it then covered with a large piece of plastic which I clipped tightly.  It hasn't been the prettiest thing in the garden for the past three days but today I opened it up to see how it had faired.  Thankfully it is still in full bloom... the first flowers are going pinker now but these are nice and fresh.  Fingers crossed it keeps going now it is a little warmer.
