Moribund

Our poor, sweet, beloved Essu is losing her battle against several ailments. She suddenly developed difficulties in urinating and lost weight dramatically. The vet told us there's nothing to do to save her kidneys and bladder. She now under heavy pain killer medication – the reason why she's wearing that piece of clothing.

She still eats well and moves around. She jumps up and down and talks to us. In the afternoon I was taking a nap and she came to rest on my chest. We will keep her as long as she's like that. That may not be long, however.
