Abstract Thursday

This started off as a close up of part of a decorative twirl on our standard light in living room. I then converted it to monochrome using SiverEfex and gave it this blueish tone as I thought it suited the metallic surface and then finally  I distorted it using polar-co-ordinates in Photoshop hopefully creating a graphic abstraction.
