Early Rhubarb

Got some early, forced rhubarb from a client yesterday. Just a few stalks but good deep red. I boiled it up with some sugar and water. There wasn't a lot, but it was tasty. I decided to pop it in the jar I'd finished the day before and return it to my MIL. Last week she'd delivered this jar to me filled with lemon curd. I enjoyed that on my breakfast toast most days this last week. Today I returned the jar and favour, giving her the total output of the rhubarb.
