Coming in for a landing at sunset

Today was a sunny warm day. I found out in the morning that my partner was doing well on her new treatment but later got a call that they need to make room for more covid patients and need to transfer her once again to a regional hosptial. She has not gone yet so maybe tomorrow it will happen.

Once I got home I took a quick walk down to the lake to see the sunset. The redwing blackbird spotted me and came in for a peanut. He landed on my hand but was too close to another birds nest and was chased off my hand. He tried a second time but I was further away from the lake.
