Go to jail...

As a special treat for Katja's birthday we went for a fancy meal at Oxford's Malmaison hotel.

I knew it was part of the restored castle complex, and realised this is where the prison used to be - but was utterly unprepared for the experience of what is basically a luxury prison hotel.

The meal was lovely (no porridge in sight), but I was quite relieved to escape at the end of the evening...
