West Bay Boundary Sculptures

After we completed some transactions in Dorchester, we took our picnic to West Bay although it was another car one as it’s so chilly . We just had a little amble along the prom as I woke up with a streaming cold from nowhere . We spotted these sculptures which we hadn’t noticed before . One had Bridport on it , one Symondsbury and one Wild Cat Strike . Intriguing! 
Google came to the rescue .West Bay Sculptures It was linked to the suffragette strike at the rope factory in Bridport in the1900s by the female workers. We will have to search for the other ones. 
I won the ‘Lottery ‘ last night - a phone call from my hairdresser- only one week to wait !!!!
