Ugly Mugs!

First day of the 2021 pottery season is underway!   I often begin with these 'uglies'.....simple and easy, i should explain that i have a long standing order with a lovely cafe in town, The Ugly Mug, they purchase a few hundred of these a year....and i often start my first day back in the studio with them :)

Feels good to be back in the groove, it's been 4 months since i worked at the wheel etc., and i love having the break, and i'm ready to get back into production.  I'm optimistic that we might have a better summer here this year, hoping the Atlantic Bubble is created once more which will perhaps increase the tourists!

Terry and i headed down to Englishtown beach after work, we did a very short walk, it was pretty windy and chilly....then our picnic in the car!
