Sheetweaver 2

The Black-tailed Red Sheetweaver, Florida coccinea, is one of my very favorite tiny (it's body is about the size of the top of a pencil eraser) spiders. I spotted this beauty this morning at the DogPark. Usually you need to be actually looking for this little creature to see it. This one's web was damp with dew, which made it easier to see. I was only able to grab two shots of it before it sensed my presence and disappeared into the plants under it's web.
