Wheatear

I went looking for my first wheatears of the spring and found some, surprisingly enough. On the beach at Churchill barrier #4 I saw at least two and maybe up to four. A bit hard to keep track of them on the beach because of vegetation and lots of linnets, pied wagtails, pipets and ringed plover all zipping about at the same time, but I think there were four. All males, I think the males set off from Africa before the females. Also saw three great skua, also newly-arrived. The extra is of the sea and sky east of the beach.
