marking a death

i’m finding myself surprisingly emotional about the death of Prince Philip. i remember my dad telling me that they had been chuckling about the trials of sorting out a wedding (mine was low key at the Savoy Chapel).  Diana and I got married to our respective first husbands within a few weeks of each other.  neither marriage ended well.  

Prince Philip was a man who understood the concept of duty.  I hope this continues in the United Kingdom in the future.
