Pottering about in the garden

We went shopping this morning and after lunch I did some bits and bobs in the garden.
Nothing major, some potting up and some repotting plus a bit of soil-sieving.
Our own compost is really good and I have used quite a bit of it recently. Our composting has been much more successful since I stopped putting the grass cuttings in it - they seemed to take an age to rot down but it moves much faster without them and they go in the garden recycling  bin. Perhaps there was just too much for one compost bin.

Extra photo is of the far back garden which looks much brighter since Terry did the jetwashing and we repainted some of the fence panels.
Feeling saddened re the death of Prince Philip, but what an amazing life he had. R.I.P.
