Latarjet-Bristow procedure

Emma's shoulder was operated today in the Phlajalinna private hospital. As the surgery treatment was used Latarjet-Bristow procedure, which is used to treat recurrent shoulder dislocations. She was anesthetised and after 6,5 hours Emma was ready to go home.

Emma's shoulder dislocated first time last June in basketball training (https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2717859996313322719) and several times after that. However, she was able to play the whole basketball season with shoulder taping.

Emma has to wear arm sling for the next three weeks and after summer she'll be able to play basketball again. In the evening we watched Pyrintö men's semifinal game against Kauhajoen Karhut.
