Heads Together

Tete-a-tetes nodding in the sunshine, and the breeze.

We had a little outing down to the Teviot at Chesters. One of the osprey observers was there, and let us have a look through his monocular. 

The male, Samson, is back!  Since his mate, Delilah, disappeared in 2017, there have been no chicks, but last year there were two immature females contending for his affections. Will one (or both) return? Fingers crossed that this will be the year we hear the flutter of tiny wings :-)
