It’s Time

Well, the time has come, it’s our turn for the vaccination.

Both Lauralea and myself are considered high risk because of our heath concerns and so the opening came for people our age with heath concerns to get our vaccinations. Lauralea called in and worked through the process and we received appointments for the same time.

We made a bit of an outing of it. Date night. We got some supper and picked up a few groceries as well.

The staff was very efficient and helpful and very friendly. They processed us as quickly as they could.

I was a bit surprised that it was a wee bit emotional. Something so looked forward to, and then it’s in your arm. Done.

Within two weeks we should see us %80 protected.

It begins to allow us to think bigger thoughts again. Maybe even to visit the kids a bit. We’ll see.

Anyway, now I can add “Faced a Pandemic” to my resume.
